As a result, new Superman scribe Brian Bendis has written wife Lois Lane, son Jon, cousin Kara aka Supergirl, and even the bottle City of Kandor out of Superman's comic books by way of this 6-part mini series, "Man of Steel." While well-written and well-drawn, I was not happy with this new direction for the comic book character.
